Conference location and travel

CERE 2018 will take place in the Main Building of the University of Glasgow’s Gilmorehill Campus. The conference venue can be reached directly from Glasgow Airport by taxi (8 miles) and there are a number of public transport links that connect Glasgow Airport to Glasgow City Centre, where the conference venue can be easily reached by bus or subway.

The University of Glasgow has been an important part of the city since 1451, making it the fourth oldest university in the English-speaking world. The conference will be held at the University’s Gilmorehill Campus, which is easily accessible from Glasgow Airport by taxi (8 miles). There are also a number of public transport links connecting Glasgow Airport to Glasgow City Centre, from which the conference venue can be reached by bus or subway.

Conference Dinner

On the last night (19:30 pm – midnight, Thursday April 5 2018) there will be a 3-course hot dinner (buffet), drinks reception and Ceilidh (traditional Scottish dancing) at Òran Mór in the West End. Attendance is an additional fee of £50.
